Mistral’s MCP connector guide (opens in a new tab) describes the administrator requirement and supported authentication. Its chat connector guide (opens in a new tab) shows how to turn a connector on for a conversation. Per-function approvals are under Connectors, My Connectors, the connector, then Functions; Mistral advises keeping write actions on manual approval. Set it up in fenbs for the short setup steps.

What to save from a Le Chat or Vibe session, and how the next AI picks it up

Ask Vibe to save the outcome of your work in fenbs before the conversation ends. Keep the decisions, why they were made, facts worth using again and what should happen next. If an answer is still uncertain, save the question and what would settle it. That gives the next session a clear starting point.

  • Keep choices and reasons together, especially when you ruled out an alternative.
  • Save useful links and checked facts, with any limits still attached.
  • Say which tasks are finished, what remains and the first next step.

When you return, ask Vibe or another connected AI to read the saved work in fenbs before starting. Vibe’s own Knowledge Base (opens in a new tab) selects stored knowledge when it is relevant; it does not promise every fact in every answer. Asking for the fenbs record gives the next assistant an explicit place to look for the work you want to continue.

How fenbs helps

Never lose the work you did in an AI session

After a useful AI session, save it in fenbs: the key observations, findings, research and context. Then carry on from exactly where you left off, on any device and in any other AI. The next AI you connect reads it at the start of the session, so you never have to explain the same problem again.

Questions people ask.

Is Le Chat still the product name?

Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe on August 12, 2026. Existing accounts, conversations and saved content carry over, and chat.mistral.ai remains the entry point. These instructions use Vibe Work.

Do I need an administrator to add fenbs?

Yes. Adding custom MCP connectors requires an administrator. Free, Pro and Student account owners have that role by default. Teams and Enterprise users need their administrator.

How do I enable fenbs in a chat?

After connecting it, choose + or type a slash, select Tools, and enable the fenbs connector for the chat.

Does Vibe support every MCP feature?

No. Mistral currently lists limitations including dynamic tool discovery, MCP resources and automatic prompt templates. A connector does not imply support for every part of MCP.
