Connect Glean to your fenbs kanban board
Admin only for setup: a Glean administrator imports and publishes the fenbs tools from Platform → Tools. With per-user sign-in, each person then connects their own fenbs account and asks Glean Assistant about the kanban board.

Admin only for setup. You need access to Glean’s Admin console and Platform → Tools to connect and publish the fenbs tools. Your organization decides who may use them. Glean’s remote MCP guide (opens in a new tab) documents this route for custom or unlisted servers; catalog integrations can use a different setup.
Connect Glean to fenbs
- Open Admin console → Platform → Tools. Open Vendor Provided Tools (via MCP), then Add.
- In Vendor provided tools (via MCP), choose Import tools from MCP server. Name it fenbs and paste the URL below.
- Choose Streaming HTTP and Dynamic Client Registration. Click Connect to server and finish the fenbs sign-in.
- Open Edit settings. Turn on the tools for Glean, or Agents if needed, then click Save.
- Open Glean Assistant and ask: “What is on my fenbs kanban board?” With per-user sign-in, each person connects their own fenbs account.

Set it up in fenbs for the server address and connection steps. The administrator’s first connection discovers and publishes the tools; it does not authorize every member’s fenbs account. Glean documents full MCP support in Assistant and beta support in its agents. This connects Glean to fenbs, separate from Glean’s own server for other assistants.
What to save from a Glean session, and how the next AI picks it up
Workplace search can leave useful answers spread across several chats. At the end of a session, ask Glean to save the conclusions that matter to the work, the source links, the decisions you made and the next step in fenbs. Keep the saved account short enough for a person to check and specific enough for another assistant to continue.
Glean can also keep the conversation in its own chat history, when your organization enables it and the chat remains within retention. You can rename or pin a chat and search earlier chats to continue them. Glean’s chat history guide (opens in a new tab) says administrators choose the retention period, and conversations outside it are permanently deleted. Do not treat a sidebar pin as a promise of permanent storage.
For the next session, ask Glean or another connected AI to read the saved work in fenbs first. It can start with the conclusion and next action you recorded, while Glean’s chat remains the place to revisit the original exchange. Nothing in this setup promises to copy every workplace result or conversation automatically.
Never lose the work you did in an AI session
After a useful AI session, save it in fenbs: the key observations, findings, research and context. Then carry on from exactly where you left off, on any device and in any other AI. The next AI you connect reads it at the start of the session, so you never have to explain the same problem again.
