Connect Gemini to your fenbs kanban board
Gemini custom apps need a US personal Google account, age 18 or older, English and Keep Activity on. Connect fenbs on the web, then save the decisions and next steps from your chat for the next AI.

Custom apps are for people age 18 or older in the US, using English and a personal Google account with Keep Activity on. Work and school accounts are excluded. Google’s custom app guide (opens in a new tab) says to connect on the web; after that, the app works in Gemini on web and mobile.
Connect Gemini to fenbs
- Open gemini.google.com, then Settings, then Connected Apps. If it is missing, try Personal Intelligence, then Connected Apps. Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app.
- Paste the fenbs server address below and choose Next.
- Gemini opens fenbs in a new window. Finish the fenbs sign-in and choose Approve.
- Back in Gemini, type @ and pick fenbs. Try asking: “@fenbs add a task: try screen sharing in AI Studio Live”.

Google’s help pages show different entry points for Connected Apps, so the menu can vary by account. Its general Connected Apps guide (opens in a new tab) describes Customize, then Connectors; the separate custom app instructions use Settings. Gemini asks for confirmation before custom app actions that write. Set it up in fenbs for the short setup steps.
What to save from a Gemini session, and how the next AI picks it up
Before you leave the chat, ask Gemini to save what will help you continue: the decisions you made and why, facts you checked, tasks still open and the next step. Put the result in fenbs while the reasons are still fresh. A short account of what changed is more useful for continuing the work than a long conversation to read again.
- Save the choice you made, including any option you ruled out and the reason.
- Keep useful source links beside the facts they support.
- Say what is finished, what still needs checking and where to start next.
At the start of the next session, ask the connected AI to read the saved work in fenbs before it begins. That can be Gemini again, or another AI you have connected. You carry forward the decisions and next steps without making the new assistant guess what happened in the previous chat.
Never lose the work you did in an AI session
After a useful AI session, save it in fenbs: the key observations, findings, research and context. Then carry on from exactly where you left off, on any device and in any other AI. The next AI you connect reads it at the start of the session, so you never have to explain the same problem again.
