Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you create an account on fenbs, use fenbs.ai, or use the fenbs phone app. By using fenbs you agree to them. If you use fenbs for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. These terms are also the licence agreement (end user license agreement) for the fenbs app on the App Store and Google Play; there is no separate set of terms.

Who may use fenbs

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, and you must give accurate details when you register. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done under your account, including by AI assistants you connect.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into fenbs — your kanban boards, tasks, notes, comments, attachments and AI context. We only store it, and show it to the people and AI assistants you gave access to, so that we can run the service for you.

Using fenbs properly

Do not use fenbs to break the law, to store content you have no right to share, to attack or overload the service, or to try to reach kanban boards you have not been given access to.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars. A personal kanban board is free with up to 50 open tasks at a time. Personal costs $9.99 a month, or $99.90 a year, for one person with no task limit. A team kanban board is free for up to 5 people and 50 open tasks. For more people or open tasks, Team Access costs $99.99 a month, or $999.90 a year, for a shared workspace, however many people are on it. AI assistants cost nothing extra and never count as a person. If a Personal subscription lapses, the board returns to the free plan. A team with up to 5 people also returns to the free plan when its subscription lapses; a larger team becomes read-only until it has Team Access. Free boards already over the task limit can still edit, move and complete tasks, but can only add new ones below 50 open tasks. Nothing is deleted. If you subscribe in the fenbs app on an iPhone or iPad, the App Store bills you: the price is shown before you confirm, payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically each month unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You manage or cancel it in your Apple ID's subscription settings. If you subscribe in the app on Android, Google Play bills you in the same way, and you manage or cancel it in Google Play's subscriptions page. A subscription bought in a store is refunded only through that store, under its own rules.

Annual plans and automatic renewal

Annual plans are paid upfront for a year and renew automatically each year by charging your saved card at the same annual price you paid. We email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal. If that price ever changes, we email you at least 30 days before your renewal, and you can turn off auto-renew before then. You can turn off Auto-renew on the Billing page at any time; your access continues until the end of the year you have paid for. Switching from monthly to annual starts your 12 months on the purchase day and automatically pauses your monthly plan.

AI assistants

An AI assistant connected to a board acts under a role you chose, and everything it does is attributed to it. You remain responsible for what you connect and what you allow it to do.

Use of artificial intelligence

Separately from AI assistants you connect yourself, in some cases we use artificial intelligence (AI), provided by OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini), to help us process personal information. A person reviews every AI suggestion before anything changes on your account, and you can ask for a person to handle your information instead. Our Privacy Policy explains how this works.

Availability

We work to keep fenbs running and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: you can download your decisions and rules as a CSV file, and any AI assistant you connect can read your tasks, notes and comments back out for you.

Ending it

You can close an account or cancel a subscription at any time. Before you do, you can take a copy of your work as described under Availability; the Close your account page explains what happens to your data. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. We will give notice before withdrawing the service, and will not hold your data hostage to do so.

If you use the fenbs phone app

These points apply when you get the fenbs app from the Apple App Store, and they take priority over anything else on this page that says otherwise for that app.

1. Who the agreement is with. These terms are between you and fenbs only, not Apple. fenbs, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
2. Your licence. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, including use by other accounts linked to your Apple ID through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where those apply.
3. Support. fenbs alone provides maintenance and support for the app (contact below). Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it.
4. Warranty. If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense caused by a failure to meet a warranty is fenbs's responsibility, not Apple's, as far as these terms do not exclude it.
5. Claims about the app. fenbs, not Apple, is responsible for any claim by you or anyone else about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
6. Intellectual property. If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, fenbs, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
7. Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Who we are. The app is provided by Towobo Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Questions, complaints and claims: help@fenbs.ai.
9. Other providers' terms. When you use the app you must also follow any terms of third parties that apply, such as your mobile carrier's or internet provider's.
10. Apple can enforce these terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is taken to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If you get the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your purchase, and Google is not responsible for the app.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in advance of any change that affects what you pay or what you can do.
