Connect Grok to your fenbs kanban board

Adding fenbs for a Grok Business or Enterprise team is admin only and needs Team Read-Write permission. Add the team connector first, then each person connects their own fenbs account to save work for the next AI.

The Grok Business and Enterprise team setup below is admin only: you need Team Read-Write permission, usually held by a team administrator. Add the connector for the team first, then each person connects their own fenbs account. xAI’s Connector Management guide (opens in a new tab) describes that team route.

Connect Grok to fenbs

  1. Open console.x.ai and choose your team. Choose Grok Business, then Connectors.
  2. Choose + Add Connector, then Other. Paste the fenbs server address below.
  3. Finish the fenbs sign-in and approval when asked.
  4. Open grok.com/connectors and connect the fenbs connector for your account.
  5. Ask Grok: “What is on my fenbs kanban board?”

The team route is not the only route. xAI’s Connectors guide (opens in a new tab) says connectors are available to all Grok users: on the web, open grok.com/connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom, enter the server URL and authenticate. Grok must reach the server over the public internet; localhost and private-network URLs are rejected, as its remote server guide (opens in a new tab) explains. Set it up in fenbs to follow these steps with the fenbs address filled in.

What to save from a Grok session, and how the next AI picks it up

Before ending the session, ask Grok to save the work you want to continue in fenbs. Keep the decisions and their reasons, the facts you checked and the next step. When a task is unfinished, say what has already been tried and what still needs an answer. A short record helps the next AI start from what you know.

  • Save the agreed choice and why you made it.
  • Keep source links with facts another assistant will need.
  • Record finished work, remaining questions and where to begin next.

At the next session, ask Grok or another connected AI to read the saved work in fenbs first. Grok’s account sync (opens in a new tab) keeps its conversations available across web and phone when you use the same account. Saving the useful result in fenbs also gives a different connected assistant somewhere to pick up the decisions and next steps.

How fenbs helps

Never lose the work you did in an AI session

After a useful AI session, save it in fenbs: the key observations, findings, research and context. Then carry on from exactly where you left off, on any device and in any other AI. The next AI you connect reads it at the start of the session, so you never have to explain the same problem again.

Questions people ask.

Is a Grok custom MCP connector Business-only?

No. xAI says connectors are available to all Grok users through the web connector flow. Business and Enterprise team setup adds an administrator step requiring Team Read-Write permission.

Does each team member sign in to fenbs separately?

Yes. After the administrator adds the team connector, each person connects their own account at grok.com/connectors.

Can I use a localhost server URL?

No. Grok must reach the MCP server over the public internet and rejects localhost and private-network URLs. Use the public fenbs server address in the instructions.

Are these setup steps the same in the phone app?

These instructions use the documented web console and connectors page. The sources do not establish matching native iOS or Android setup menus.
