The problem it solves
Client requests arrive by email, WhatsApp and a call at 6pm. Nothing is in one place, the client is not sure what they asked for, and you are not sure what is done. A board the client can see, with a role that only lets them add and comment, ends the argument: a request is a task with a number, and its lane says where it is.
How to set it up
- Your own board is free and is for your own work. For each client, make a team board — that is one price a month however many people join.
- Add the client with a role that can add tasks and comment. Add a collaborator with a bigger role if you have one.
- Ask the client to file everything as a task: a Feature for new work, an Enhancement for a change, a Bug for a problem. Refuse email.
- Connect your AI assistant to the board and let it read the client’s tasks before it drafts anything for you.
Why the roles matter
A client with a full-access role will move things to Completed because they think it is done. A client with the smallest role can only report and comment, which is the whole conversation you wanted. Every refusal is polite and explains itself, so you are not the one explaining.
How to try it
Do not evaluate a simple tool with a demo project. Paste in the real list you are working from this week using Add many, add the one person who most often tells you about problems with a small role, connect the AI assistant you already use, and work from the board for a week. At the end ask one question: is the board still true? Your own board is free, so the trial costs nothing but the week.
