This group brings together companies behind general AI assistants, coding products, and model families: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Microsoft AI, Meta AI, Mistral AI, Cohere, xAI, and DeepSeek. Their products cover conversations, research, document work, and software development.
A company, a model, and an app are different things. Claude and Claude Code have different workflows; Meta AI and the Llama model family are separate products. Before changing tools, check which files, instructions, conversations, and connections belong to the app you currently use. Access to another model does not automatically move that work with it.
ChatGPT supports conversations and projects with shared files, instructions, and connected sources. Codex works with local project directories and saved coding conversations.

Claude supports text and spoken conversations, uploaded documents, and account-level exports. Claude Code is a separate coding assistant available through terminal, editor, desktop, and browser interfaces.

Gemini Apps include a conversational assistant, mobile Live conversations, and connections to other apps. Gemini CLI connects coding work to external tools, while the research product documented as Gemini Notebook organizes uploaded sources, answers, and research materials.

Microsoft Copilot supports chat, document-like Pages, and visual help in eligible voice sessions. Copilot Studio builds assistants that connect to external tools, while GitHub Copilot has its own coding-tool connections and policies.

Meta AI works across Meta apps, its standalone app, the website, and supported AI glasses. Meta documents personalization, memory, and answers about what a glasses wearer can see; Llama is a separate developer model family.

Mistral builds AI models and a work assistant called Vibe, formerly Le Chat. Vibe has Work, Code, and Chat modes, and existing Le Chat accounts, conversations, and saved content move with the renamed product.

Cohere supplies enterprise AI models and North, a workspace for searching company information and building assistants and automations. North includes memory, libraries, and administrative controls; Command is a separate model family used through APIs or deployment arrangements.

Grok works on the web and in iOS and Android apps, with chat, voice, file analysis, media generation, and tool connections. Business and Enterprise add team workspaces and administration, while developer API use is a separate product.

DeepSeek provides a consumer assistant and a separately configured developer API. Its API accepts OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible requests, allowing supported applications to use DeepSeek as their model provider.

The group includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Microsoft AI, Meta AI, Mistral AI, Cohere, xAI, and DeepSeek. Each company entry identifies its products and links to the vendor source used for its description.
A model and the product used to reach it are different things. An assistant app can add conversations, files, instructions, and tool connections around a model. A company's chat app, coding tool, and developer API may have different features and controls.
Do not assume it does. For example, running a Llama model in another application does not transfer a Meta AI account or its chat history. Check the original product's export options and the destination product's supported inputs before moving work.
