Bug tracker

Most bug trackers are built for the people who fix bugs. This one is also built for the people who find them: add testers and customers with the Reporter role and they file bugs straight onto the board, follow them, and hear when each is picked up and when it is done.

Inside, it is four lanes and a priority. P1 is on fire; P10 is a typo. A Reporter can add bugs, edit the ones they added, and comment, but cannot change anyone else’s or move bugs between lanes; that stays with the people who fix them. Your AI assistant can be asked to triage what comes in overnight, and every move it makes is signed with its name.

Then

  1. Copy the board onto a team board. Delete the sample bugs once you have real ones.
  2. People → Add someone → choose Reporter, for each tester or customer who should file bugs.
  3. Follow the bugs you care about; you get one email when they move.
