Personal board or team board?
A personal board is yours alone: no people to add, no roles, free up to 50 open tasks. A team board is shared: people join with roles, one price for everyone.

Every fenbs account has one personal board, made the first time you open the app, and can make any number of team boards. The difference is not size or features; it is whether other people are on it.
A personal board
- Yours alone. There is nobody to add and no roles to give — the People and Roles pages do not exist for it.
- Free, up to 50 open tasks at a time. Completed and archived tasks do not count. $4.99 a month removes the limit.
- AI assistants can be connected to it, free, and hold your role — which on your own board is everything.
- Can be shared as a read-only link, like any board.
A team board
- Shared. People join by email with a role in plain words; a client can be given a role that only reports bugs.
- One price a month for the whole team, however many people join. AI assistants are free.
- Has Roles: you can make new ones from the permissions, and change what an existing one allows.
- Its history shows who did what, people and assistants alike.
Which to make
Start with your personal board; it is already there. Make a team board the moment a second person needs to see or change the list. A freelancer typically has one personal board and one team board per client; an agency has one team board per client and nothing on their personal board but their own admin.
