Claude Projects Not Showing on Mobile: What to Check
If your Claude Projects are missing in the mobile app, the cause is usually account context, a sync issue, or a plan that does not include Projects. Here is how to fix it.
Updated 5 min read
When Claude Projects stop appearing in the mobile app, the most common causes are a plan that does not include Projects, the wrong organization selected in the app, a sync delay, or the app showing an outdated cached view. Working through these checks in order usually finds the problem in a few minutes.
While you work through the fix, keeping the current task and next step recorded outside the app means the work is not stalled. fenbs stores that progress so any connected assistant on any device can pick it up.
Check your account plan and sign-in
Claude Projects is only available on paid plans. If the subscription on this account lapsed or was downgraded, Projects will not appear on mobile or desktop. Open account settings in the app or at claude.ai and confirm the current plan. The Anthropic help center (opens in a new tab) shows which plans include Projects.
Also confirm that the mobile app is signed into the same account you use on desktop. It is easy to end up with a different email address signed in on the phone, particularly if you have personal and work accounts for different services.
Check the organization context in the app
If you belong to more than one Claude organization, the mobile app needs to be set to the correct one. A project created inside a work workspace will not appear when the app is showing a personal account. Look for an account or workspace switcher in the app settings or at the top of the navigation.
Team and Enterprise accounts sometimes have separate personal and organizational spaces. A project added by a colleague to the team workspace will only appear when the app is viewing that workspace. Switching takes one step and does not require signing out.
Force a sync refresh
The mobile app caches data locally so it loads faster. That cache can become stale, particularly after an account change, a plan update, or a recent service issue. Pull down on the project list to trigger a refresh. If that does not help, sign out of the app and sign back in. This clears the local cache and forces a fresh sync from the server.
If the Anthropic status page (opens in a new tab) shows a recent incident, the sync may just need a little time after the service stabilizes. Wait a few minutes, then pull to refresh again.
Update or reinstall the app
An older version of the Claude app may not display Projects at all if the feature was added after the installed version was released. Check the App Store or Google Play for any available update. If an update is available, install it and sign back in.
If the app shows the Projects section on a first install but loses it after an update, a full reinstall can sometimes clear a corrupted local state. Back up anything device-local before reinstalling—though Projects themselves are stored server-side and will return after sign-in.
What to check if desktop shows Projects but mobile doesn't
This pattern usually points to a sync or session issue on the mobile device rather than an account problem. Sign out on the phone, sign back in, and confirm you are in the same organization context as on desktop. If desktop shows Projects under a work org and the phone is signed in to a personal account, the discrepancy is expected.

Keep the work accessible while you fix the problem
If restoring access takes time, having the current task status and next step in a separate record means the work is not stalled on one device or one app. A tool like fenbs keeps that context readable by any connected assistant. You can continue on desktop or with a different AI app while the phone sync is being resolved.
The fenbs phone app also lets you read and update tasks, decisions, and progress notes directly, without needing the Claude mobile app to be working. That makes it a particularly useful fallback when one AI app is temporarily unavailable and the work still needs to move forward.
Continue the work while access is restored
fenbs stores the current task status, Decisions and rules, and Where we left off outside of any one device or AI app. While the Claude mobile app is being fixed, any connected assistant on desktop or another tool can continue from the same record. Free for one person, no credit card needed. fenbs does not sync directly with the Claude mobile app.

How to do this with fenbs
- Create a free account and add your project to fenbs so the context is separate from the Claude app.
- Connect Claude to fenbs from Integrations on a desktop, where the setup is easiest.
- Ask the connected assistant to read and save project context at the start and end of each session.
- If the Claude mobile app is not showing Projects, open fenbs on your phone to check the current task status and next step.
- Continue the work from a desktop or another connected assistant if mobile access is not restored quickly.
